I like to know how different varieties do in other people's gardens, it helps me decide when selecting between the 500 varieties in the seed catalogs. :DAnywhereEdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08243890948543124146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3369822688033191522.post-90772496066120837592012-05-04T11:50:13.292-07:002012-05-04T11:50:13.292-07:00Congrats on your first harvest! Unfortunately, we had a heat wave and the rest of my stuff bolted. Bah!

I hope the rest of yours does well!Prairie Cathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03036436697268048651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3369822688033191522.post-47578023244402563232012-05-03T12:25:55.486-07:002012-05-03T12:25:55.486-07:00Yes! I have noticed a few volunteers popping up though so I may get a bit of spinach after all.AnywhereEdenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08243890948543124146noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3369822688033191522.post-71171685809314467272012-05-03T10:45:06.665-07:002012-05-03T10:45:06.665-07:00Doesn't that first salad taste wonderful?!! I was harvesting large full heads of lettuce before mid May last year, but changed the location of my lettuce bed and it's coming in much slower this year. I've just been harvesting the outer leaves, too. I did start another really big container of seedlings though, so hopefully I can soon begin harvesting more.Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.com
